The grand master of the GLNS welcomed the gldf delegation at the orient of belgrade
On April 27, 2026, at the Orient of Belgrade, the Most Venerable Grand Master of the Grand National Lodge of Serbia (GNLS), M∴W∴ BRATislav Uraković, accompanied by the Grand Officers of the GNLS and the Worshipful Masters of the Respectable Lodges of the GNLS, officially welcomed the delegation of the Grand Lodge of France (GLDF – www.gldf.org).
The delegation was led by the Most Venerable Grand Master of the GLDF, Jean-Raphaël Notton, and also included Brother Alain Gravian, Secretary General of CIGLU, as well as Brother Martial Ouendo, Grand Chancellor of the Grand Lodge of France.

The visit began with a solemn wreath-laying ceremony at the Monument of Gratitude to France in Belgrade. Through this act, the Grand Masters of the two obediences paid tribute to the centuries-old alliance between the Serbian and French peoples, reaffirming the strong historical and fraternal ties between the two countries.

During the solemn reception, Grand Master Notton presented to the Grand National Lodge of Serbia the Gold Plaque of the Grand Lodge of France – the highest distinction awarded by the GLDF for exceptional contributions to the development of Masonic thought in the region and for strengthening the Fraternal Chain among obediences.
Fraternal discussions and support for the grand sovereign lodge of montenegro
During the fraternal discussions at the Orient of Belgrade, the Grand Master of the GLDF expressed special words of support for the young Grand Sovereign Lodge of Montenegro, whose development the Grand National Lodge of Serbia has followed with great attention and full fraternal support since its very founding.
Conclusion – strengthening fraternal ties and common steps toward the light
This meeting confirmed the depth and vitality of the relationship between the Grand National Lodge of Serbia and the Grand Lodge of France, with the announcement of new joint steps on the path of brotherhood, tolerance and Light. The visit represents an important step in further strengthening Masonic cooperation in Europe and the region.
