Spreading the Light Across the Balkans

The cooperation with the Regular Grand Lodge of Slovenia, founded in 2005, was established shortly after its foundation. This Masonic Obedience initially maintained close contacts with the irregular organization Masonic High Council of England, and later, with the assistance of the National Grand Lodge of Serbia, established cooperation with the Grand Lodge of France as its mother lodge.

The Light was brought into the Regular Grand Lodge of Slovenia by the National Grand Lodge of Serbia on 20 September 2014. This solemn ceremony, held in Ljubljana, was attended by delegations from 12 Obediences (Austria, Bulgaria, India, Italy, Lebanon, Hungary, Portugal, Romania, Russia, the Czech Republic, Spain and France), as well as by the President and Secretary of the International Confederation of United Grand Lodges — ICUGL.

The cooperation with the Brethren from Slovenia continues to grow stronger through joint programmes, mutual visits, and participation in GLUDE organization conferences. In this way, the great Masonic chain gathered around the Grand Lodge of France continues to gain strength and contribute positively to society as a whole.
